The chapter reviews the foreign policies of the four Nordic countries from the Cold War period and to today with respect to four elements: Security, foreign policy, its vision (What values do we stand for in our national foreign policy?), and coalition actors. Then, the four nations´participations in recent international military operations are compared and finally, four reasons are presented for the recent military activism of Denmark.
